Sue Spencer has thirty years experience as a teacher and is a mother of two teenage children.
She is a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of teaching and is a Consultant Member of Learning Difficulties Australia.
Sue holds qualifications as a Primary teacher, as a teacher of English as a Second Language, a Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education and a Masters Degree from Melbourne University.
Sue has a special interest and experience in teaching children who are bright, but are experiencing learning difficulties in Literacy and Numeracy, for whatever reason.
Sue enjoys the challenge of getting to the core of the specific difficulty that the child is experiencing and then applying evidence based strategies to help the child make progress in reading, spelling, writing and maths.
To see children succeed and grow in self confidence is what makes teaching so worthwhile!
